Drop Lead Gorgeous is Elgin’s first women’s firearms education and training program. We have hand crafted a course designed just for women, by women. Our mission is to bring you the knowledge and skills you need to be comfortable and proficient with your firearm. Whether you are beginner or advanced, we have a place for you here at DLG.
Looking to get your License To Carry?
We also offer License To Carry courses the 3rd Sunday of every month. These courses are co-ed, but are facilitated by yours truly! Guaranteed, you will have a female range instructor with you. Let’s get you started!
Basic Shotgun Fundamentals
This course introduces the new shotgun owner, or anyone interested in learning about the modern shotgun, the ins and outs of proper ammunition selection, safety, handling, loading, unloading, firing, and maintenance of both semiautomatic and pump-action shotguns.
